If there is one thing I've learnt in the luxury space it is this; the principles of a luxury experience are exceedingly simple. The process for ideation and execution, perhaps much less so.
I've found that to deliver a luxury experience is simply to delight, because true delight is at the heart of much of what we call prestige. And to delight others begin by understanding what we find delightful.
As i said ideation and execution are somewhat trickier, a function of imagination and experience. But the starting point is possibly just in realising that, beyond what is flashy, true luxury is a feeling within ourselves that we re-create for others.
