Walking along Edinburgh's Princes street at dusk I pick up on a certain vibe, strong enough that I stop to take it in. It is partly how the sky showcases the castle, the gardens and shops set against artfully place overhead lights.
But mostly it's the people. You see tis the time of the big coats and chelsea boots, and they wear them so very well. Just one of many things I love about this city; how it is forever blending the modern and the timeless with an authenticity woven into its heritage.
I soak in this vibe, my evening brighter for having felt it, then I continue on my way.
